Mr. Adrian Randall Holmes, 51, died on Friday, July 22, 2016, at Hinkle Hospice House.

Funeral service will be Wednesday at 1:00 pm at First Baptist Church, Village Dr. with family visitation a half hour before the service. Burial will follow at Lexington City Cemetery.

Public viewing will be Tuesday from 1:00- 7:00 pm at Roberts Funeral Service.

He was born in Davidson County on March 3, 1965, to Albert Ray Holmes, Sr. and Margaret Chambers Holmes. He was a member of Buncombe Baptist Church and was a maintenance man at Matcor Metal Fabrication.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Brown Holmes and a brother, Albert R. Holmes, Jr.

Randall leaves to cherish his memory his parents; a son, Melvin (Courtney) Clark; two daughters, Kenya Brown and Selina Brown; two brothers, Aloyisus Chambers and Anthony (Andrea) Holmes; two sisters, Cheryl (Mike) Knotts and Alvaretta Chambers; 3 grandchildren; paternal grandmother, Christine Holmes Frazier; a devoted companion, Paula Martin and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
