Albert Stewart Sampson, Jr. passed away on Monday, July 29, 2024 at the Hinkle Hospice House. He was born in Brooklyn, New York on April 6, 1960 to Stewart Sampson and Maggie W. Sampson.

Albert was preceded in death by his father; a son, Allen Jacob "AJ" Everhart; a brother, Tyrone Richburg and two sisters, Doris Richburg and Myrastine Sampson.

He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Maggie Sampson; his son, Malik Perkins; a grandson, Josiah Everhart; two brothers, David Funchess and Andrew (Melissa) Sampson; a sister, Natasha Sampson and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
