Alene L. Thompson passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at Alston Brook. She was born October 28, 1930 in Davidson County to Thad and Maggie Leonard.
She was a member of Linwood United Methodist Church. She retired from Frank IX & Sons after 40 years of service. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles Thompson; a son, Steven Thompson and her sibling.
She leaves to cherish her memory a daughter, Susan Parker and two grandchildren, Stephanie (Devon) Eckert and Carley (Jean Dunoyer-De-Segonzac) Parker. A special thanks to the staff at Alston Brook and Hospice of Davidson County.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church; Life Center of Davidson County or Hospice of Davidson County.
A memorial service will be Saturday at Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church at 11:00am.
