Ms. Alice Marie Davidson, daughter of the late Frank and Lillie Scott Davidson and Irene Flemming, was born January 4, 1947 in Rowan County, North Carolina. She departed this life of 75 years on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at her residence in Mocksville, North Carolina.

Peaches as she was affectionately known, attended the public schools of Davie County graduating in 1967 from Central Davie High School. She was last employed with Summersett Court, Mocksville, NC. She was a faithful and dedicated member of Rock Hill Church of Christ, Cleveland, North Carolina until her health decline. Peaches enjoyed watching television, working puzzles and reading.

A legacy of love, devotion and fond memories will be treasured by those who survive her son, John Ijames, Salisbury, North Carolina; two sisters, Mary Ruth Bost, Cleveland, North Carolina and Betty Ann Walker, Salisbury, North Carolina; a grandson, Johnathan Merritt, Salisbury, North Carolina; a host of great-grandchildren; her loving neighbors at Mocks Place, Mocksville, North Carolina; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
