Alice Aileen Pierce Benjamin, 59, passed away September 14, 2022 at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.

On April 16, 1963 in Davidson County, Alice was born to Benton Pierce and Nancy Lee Young Pierce. She was a member of Brooks Temple United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her father; her bonus father, Bernell Mickens Sr.; a grandson, Robert Lee Benjamin, III and a sister, Cynthia Mickens.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Robert L. Benjamin, Sr.; three sons, Robert Benjamin, Jr., DiQuan Pierce and Eric George; four daughters: Jessica Alston, Bianca (Tamika) Pierce, Natosha Benjamin, TyQuoria Conyers; her mother, Nancy Pierce; seven grandchildren; 6 brothers, Edward (Stephanie) Pierce, Fred Pierce, Paul Gregg, Keith Love, Bernell Mickens, Jr. and Roy Lee Lindsay; 11 sisters: Rev. Lebbie Ligon, Vera (Edward) James , Teresa Pierce, Lucinda Pierce, Victoria (William) Pierce, Benita Pierce, Cassandra P. Ogunjobi, Linda (Corey) Weldon, Betty Joe Leak, Libby Hayes and Patsy Young and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral service will be Saturday at Brooks Temple United Methodist church at 2:00 P.M. with family visitation at 1:00 P.M. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Public viewing will be Friday from 1:00 P.M. - 6:00 P.M. at Roberts Funeral Service.
