Andrea Monique Holmes was born on November 21, 1970, in Davidson County to Ruth Eller Edwards Holmes. On Monday, August 24, 2026, she peacefully transitioned from this earthly life.

Andrea was last employed with Accordius Health at Lexington.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Arleen Holmes; and one brother, Melton Holmes.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory her son, Sterling Holmes; her daughter, Ariana Burns; six grandchildren; three brothers, Billy Holmes, Benjamin (Bessie) Holmes, and Ricky Holmes; two sisters, VonSherrill Holmes and Mary Pigott; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
