Our beloved, Andrew Jackson Dennis, Jr. departed this earthly life to be with his Heavenly Father on Wednesday evening, July 10, 2019, while at his residence in Eden, North Carolina.He had family by his side, when he transitioned at the age of 73.Andrew J. Dennis, Jr., a resident of the Piney Fork Community, was born on February 20, 1946 to the late Andrew Jackson Dennis, Sr. and Irene Kernodle in Danville, Virginia.

The Service of Honor and Celebration will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 20, 2019 from the Garden of Eden Church of God in Christ, 219 S. Hairston St. Eden, NC with family moments of visitation at 1:30 p.m. prior to the service.His mortal frame shall be coached to the care of Evergreen Memory Gardens for earthly rest with Full Military Honors.

At other times the family may be contacted at the home of his daughter and son-in-law, Dorrie and Reginald Miller beginning on Wednesday at 1782 Moir Mill Road, Reidsville.His remains shall lie in repose at Johnson & Sons.
