Anita Ann Mason (Nita Ann) was born June 30, 1958 in Davidson County to Willie Mason, Sr. and Macie Roman Anderson. She passed away on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at Cone Health, Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro, North Carolina.


Anita was educated in the Lexington City School System. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Village Drive. Anita loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She had a vibrant spirit & wherever she went a good time followed! She was preceded in death by her father, step mother, Jessie Mason and two brothers, Forest Mason and William C. Mason.


Anita leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Macie Roman Anderson; two daughters, Dedric M. Mason and Cassaundra D. Mason; two brothers, Willie R. Mason, Jr. and Duane W. Anderson; a "special daughter", Tomika Fuller and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.


Funeral service will be Saturday at First Baptist Church, Village Dr. at 2:00pm with family visitation at 1:30pm. Burial will follow at South Lexington City Cemetery.


The family will be at the home of the mother on Grubb Road, Lexington, NC.
