Anna Marie Leonard, 65, was born August 29, 1958 to William and Louise Hayes Leonard. She went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 15, 2023.

Annie Mae, as she was affectionately known, was a graduate of North Davidson Senior High School class of 1976. From there she worked for LFI. She was a life-long member of Gates of Zion Worship Center under the leadership of Pastor Christopher Melton, and was a faithful servant and a devoted Sunday school attendant.

Anna was preceded in death by her parents; a brother and a niece.

Anna is survived by her son, Dearis Leonard; three grandchildren: Makayla Leonard, Dakota Leonard and D'Blessing Horne; four loving sisters: LaVerne (Kenneth) Eller, Sandra Leonard, Lisa (Napoleon) Lamison and Jackie Marsh; a sister-in-law, Shelia Leonard; five aunts; three uncles; a devoted cousin, Charlotte Winston; five devoted friends: Sylvester Tuttle, Darlene Roseboro, Terkeisha Sings, Tim Hayes and Cynthia Hayes and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
