In sweet peace, on the evening of Sunday, November 16, 2025 our beloved, Annelle Ijames, gave up time for eternal rest and journeyed home to be with Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Our family and friends are most saddened as we say goodbye to a woman of God, a woman of Faith, whom we loved dearly. We are grateful for the many years we shared her life.

Annellee was born March 12, 1948 in Davie County, North Carolina and was the daughter of the late John Louis and Magdalene Neely Ijames.

She attended the Davie County public schools, graduating from Central Davie High School in 1967. Annelle shortly thereafter went into the workforce and retired from Lexington Furniture Company, Lexington, North Carolina. Annelle was a faithful former member of Yadkin Star Baptist Church in Lexington, North Carolina until her health began to decline. A sweet and humble person, Annelle believed in taking care of all those who surrounded her. She enjoyed watching Little House on the Prairie, making sure her home was well kept and going out to eat with family and friends.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Benjamin Ijames and James L. Ijames.

Annelle's legacy of love, devotion to family and friends and her sweet spirit will live in the hearts of those who survive. They are her son, Kelvin Junior Ijames of Mocksville, North Carolina; three grandchildren: Russell Stevenson, Malaya Ijames and Michael Ijames; a sister, Linda Ijames of the home; an aunt, Betty Holt of Cleveland, North Carolina; sister-in-law, Odessa Newsome of Mocksville, North Carolina; special cousins, Nancy Pelt and Eric Hargrove, both of Mocksville, North Carolina; good friends: Barbara Overcash, Nicole and Jerry Mum and Jessie Mae Wilson, all of Mocksville, North Carolina; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Memorial Services for Ms. Annelle Ijames will be Saturday, November 22, 2025 at 12:00 PM at Roberts Funeral Service Chapel with a 30 minute visitation prior to service time.
