Obituary

Annie Lee Crump Arnette was born in Davidson County, North Carolina, to the late Damon Crump and Lula Mason Crump. She peacefully departed this earthly life on August 2, 2026, at The Gardens in Statesville, North Carolina.

Annie dedicated many years of her life to caring for others through her work in home health care. Her caring and compassionate spirit extended beyond her profession and was evident in the love she shared with her family and church.

She was a faithful member of Buncombe Baptist Church, where she willingly gave of her time and talents. Throughout the years, Annie served faithfully as a member of the choir, usher board, and kitchen committee. She enjoyed serving the Lord.

Annie was preceded in death by her parents, Damon Crump and Lula Mason Crump; her beloved husband, Jeremiah Arnette; a great-great-grandchild, Shyne Ann Crump; one brother, Tommy Crump; and two sisters, Joan Rogers and Nora Jean Hairston.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory three sons, Charles (Leslie) Crump, David Williams, and Jeremiah Arnette and his fiancée, Mandy; eleven grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; three brothers, Willie Crump, Lewis Crump, and Calvin Crump; one sister, Christine Peebles; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, church family, and dear friends.
