Anslo M. Fowler, Sr., was born September 24, 1939 in Davie County, son of the late Samuel and Willie Mae Neely Fowler. He attended Davie County Schools. At an early age he joined Friendship Baptist Church. He retired from Ingersoll-Rand. He was preceded in death by one brother, James Fowler, Sr. and two sisters, Selma Mosley and Virginia Hogue. On Wednesday, April 14, 2021 he died at Glenn A. Kiser Hospice.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Lola Pruitt Fowler; two sons, Anslo M. Fowler, Jr. and Aaron (Robin) Fowler; one daughter, Angela Fowler; one sister, Evelyn Patterson; eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral service will be Wednesday, April 21, at 2:00 PM at Roberts Chapel in Mocksville. Burial will follow in Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery. Public viewing will be Tuesday from 1:00pm-6:00pm at Roberts Chapel in Mocksville.
