Anthony Edward Allen, affectionately known as "Pig," peacefully transitioned into eternity on January 19, 2020 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center at the age of 51.He was born to the late Robert Smith Allen and Jean Flemming Gallos on February 4, 1968 in Forsyth County, North Carolina.

He was preceded in death by his father and step-mother, Elizabeth Foster Allen.

He was a graduate of Davie High School and graciously served in the U. S. Navy.He became a member of Piney Grove United Methodist Church at an early age.During his youth he was a member of the junior choir, Sunday school and participated in various activities throughout his life.One of his many hobbies included sports, especially football.He was an amazing cook, a meticulous yards man and an avid Dallas Cowboys fan.

Anthony's love for others was evident by the way he spent his time with family, friends and especially his wife, children and grandchildren.He never met a stranger and truly touched the lives of others.He had a caring nature and would give his heart to be sure others were taken care of.

He leaves to cherish his memories his devoted and loving wife, Valerie J. Allen of the home; three daughters: LaToya Spencer (Gary), Casandra Allen, Chantel Moore; two sons, Tyveze LittleJohn and Christopher Webster; three granddaughters; three sisters: Carleena Graham (Neal), Sharon Allen and Ciana Gallos; three brothers: Robert Quincy Allen, Jerry Flemming and Michael Gallos (Beth) and a host of many beloved family members and friends.His love and memory will live in the hearts of many.

The Celebratory Celebration of Life will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Saturday, January 25, 2020 from the Sanctuary of Mt. Sinai A.M.E. Zion Church, 482 Peoples Creek Road, Advance, NC 27006 with visitation at 12 noon.His remains shall be laid to rest in the church cemetery of Piney Grove United Methodist Church.Anthony's mortal frame will lie in repose Friday, January 24, 2020 for visitation and viewing from 1:00 P.M. – 6:00 P.M. at Roberts Funeral Service (Winston-Salem) Chapel.
