Arden Virginia Thomas Allen, age 84, died Monday, June 21, 2021 at her residence.She was born March 1, 1937 in Union County to James Albert and Mary Ann Sturdivant Thomas.

She worked in furniture industries and was a homemaker. She was a Baptist by faith.Mrs. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles S. Allen; a son, Emmett Allen; two daughters, Charlene Watkins and Willie Mae Bush and 10 siblings.

She leaves to cherish her memory a son, Charles E. Allen; a daughter, Clarisse Redfern; a brother, Carrol Thomas; a sister, Joyce Wilson; 7 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and19 great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral service will be Saturday at New Faith Full Gospel Fellowship Center at 11:00am.Burial will follow at South Lexington City Cemetery.Public viewing will be Friday from 1:00pm-6:00pm at Roberts Funeral Service.
