Ardiana Sandra "Mookie" Richards, 33, of Willow Street, Winston-Salem, North Carolina, slipped away from this earthly walk of life on Sunday, July 31, 2022. She was born on July 1, 1989 to Audrey Jane Richards in the Bronx, New York.

Ardiana, affectionately known as "Mookie," received her education from the local Public Schools. Ardiana was a loving and caring mother, daughter, sister, cousin and a great friend. Ardiana especially loved family time and her three boys were her world; she couldn't wait for the holidays where she would go above and beyond to make everything special and memorable for them. She had a heart for caring for others and as a result, she obtained her CNA certification and was employed as a nurse with Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center. Religiously, she was of the Baptist faith.

Her life will be remembered by those who loved her best, three sons: Christopher E. Vargas, III, Codi A. Jones, Kyng J. Thompson; mother, Audrey Jane Richards; one sister, Jacqueline Richards-Anderson (George); three brothers, Tyrell, Devine, and Javaughn Richards; the love of her life, Omar Lozada; also a special acknowledgment to James Bunch and Paul Penn for being in her life growing up; her many cousins who loved her dearly and many friends. You will live in our hearts forever. Love You Mookie!

Funeral service will be conducted at 12:00 P.M. Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at Roberts Funeral Service Chapel (Winston-Salem). Public viewing will be held on Monday, August 8, 2022 from 1:00 P.M. – 6:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Facial coverings and/or masks are required for the services.
