Aristeo Velasco, 42, passed away April 21, 2024, at his residence.

Aristeo was born September 3, 1981 in Mexico to Herminio Velasco Vargas and the late Julia Tolentino Velasco.

He is remembered as being witty and cheerful, always full of laughter and ready to joke around. Aristeo loved music and dancing and would dress up any chance he got. His greatest love and passion were for his family and one of the many ways he showed it was by grilling and providing food for his people.

He leaves to cherish his memory his sons: Eduardo Velazco, David Velazco, Emmanuel Velazco and Isaac Velazco all of Lexington; his daughters: Yasmin Velazco Martinez (Rafael Velasquez), Genesis Velazco Martinez and Vanessa Velazco Martinez all of Lexington; brothers: Antonio Merida Velazco (Anita Velazco) of Candor, Aurelio Velazco (Guillermina Hernandez) of Lexington, Constantino Velazco (Cirila Velazco) of Candor, Anando Velazco of Candor and Perfeeto Velazco of Lexington; sisters: Lidia Velazco (Javier Castillo) of Lexington, Paulina Velazco of Troy, Bernardina Velazco of Candor and Elena Velazco of Mexico; a niece, Beatrice Velazco of Lexington; great nieces, Erica and Danielle Bravo and a host of other family and friends.

He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.
