Arthur Lee Gaddy, 91 of Ulysses St., passed away Friday, March 6, 2015 at the Brian Center Nursing Care in Lexington.

Funeral service will be Saturday at 2:00 PM at First Baptist Church on Village Dr. with family visitation an hour before the service. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park.

Public viewing will be Friday from 1-7 PM at Roberts Funeral Service.

He was born February 18, 1924 in Anson County to A.D. Gaddy and Julia Tillman Gaddy. He was a member of First Baptist Church and served on the usher board for many years. He was retired from PPG.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Mildred Hargrave Gaddy; two brothers, James Gaddy and John Gaddy and two sisters, Louise Bennett and Myrtle Craven.He leaves to cherish his memory three daughters, Debra Hargrave (James) Lanier of Lexington, Carolyn Gaddy (Fred) Smith of Jacksonville, Fl. and Joyce Gaddy of Lexington; five grandchildren, Curtis Hargrave, Winston Smith, Michael Hargrave, Tracy Lanier and Nathan (Ashlee) Smith; two great-grandchildren; a special aunt, Shirley Little and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends.
