Barbara Louise Hairston Fowler, 76, passed away on Friday, April 29, 2022 at Accorduis Health at Lexington.

She was born on July 23, 1945 in Jamaica, New York to Fred Holt, Sr. and Jean Hairston Parmaell. She retired from Stanley Furniture and was a member of Abiathia Temple Church of God. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ardell Fowler and a sister, Nellie Rogers.

She leaves to cherish her memory her son, Lonnie R. Hairston; two daughters, Sandra Hairston and Marlo (James) Moore; 7 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Robert Neal and Fred (Susan) Holt, Jr.; a sister, Linda Grimes and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The funeral service will be Friday, May 6, 2022 at Roberts Funeral Service at 2:00pm with family visitation at 1:30pm. Public viewing will be Thursday at Roberts Funeral Service from 1:00pm -5:00pm.
