Barbara Ann Powell Heilig, 64, died Monday, August 26, 2019.

She was born March 13, 1955 to James Powell and Claudine Tate Neely. She was a member of Church of the Word of God. She was preceded in death by her father and her son, Justin Heilig.

She leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Claudine Tate Neely; a son, Jason C. (Erica) Heilig; five daughters: Melissa D. Vinson, Shawnte (George) Mitchell, Tywanda J. Heilig, Claudia H. Hernandez and Jessica R. Heilig; a sister, Alice Tate-Gaston; 11 grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service will be Sunday at Gethsemane Baptist Church at 5:00 pm with family visitation at 4:00 pm.
