Barbara Jean Saunders Evans, 65, of Jamaica Dr., went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 21, 2021.

She was born in Davie County to Robert Patterson and Doris Duke Saunders on March 1, 1956. She was a member of Freedom Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Terry Evans; a daughter, Ebony Evans and a brother, Rufus Saunders.

She leaves to cherish her memory her four sons: Marcus Fortune, Bobby Evans, Amanuel Evans and Jonathon Evans; two daughters, Terri Watson and Tabitha (Marcus) Hamilton, two sisters, Lisa Patterson-Williams and Brenda Patterson, two brothers, Steven and Robert Patterson; 17 grandchildren; six great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other loved ones.

A memorial service will be Saturday at 3:00pm at Freedom Baptist Church.Public viewing will be Friday from 1:00pm-6:00pm at Roberts Funeral Service.
