Baxter Allen Lindsay, Jr. was born on February 11, 1989, in Davidson County to Baxter Allen Lindsay, Sr. and Robin Luella Tuttle Lindsay. He departed this earthly life on Thursday, September 17, 2026, at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.

Baxter was a graduate of North Davidson High School and was employed with Owens Illinois. He was a member of Brooks Temple United Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Carmella Lindsay; and his grandparents, Virginia Lindsay, Bruce Lindsay, Sr., Kay Tuttle, and Alfred Tuttle.

Baxter leaves to cherish his memory his twin sister, Banshae Lindsay; his adopted sister, Angela Eller-Click; his companion, Mary Dare; three nieces; one nephew; five aunts, Gail Glenn, Carolyn (Eddie) Ford, Elizabeth Cuthrell, Tammy Tuttle, and Paula Tuttle; two uncles, James S. (Regina) Gaddy and Vincent Tuttle; and a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends.

The Homegoing Service will be held Saturday at Goodwill Baptist Church. Family visitation will begin at 12:00 noon, with the Homegoing Service beginning at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Brooks Temple United Methodist Church Cemetery.
