Mr. Benny Ray Thomas of Lexington was called to his heavenly home on Friday, February 22, 2019 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.

He was born on October 27, 1953 in Thomasville North Carolina to Betty Viola and Hollis Thomas. He was educated in Midway and graduated from North Davidson Senior High, class of 1972. Benny retired from R.J Reynolds after 40 plus years. He was an active member of Brooks Temple United Methodist Men, a faithful member of the Brooks Temple Trustee Board and a diligent member of the N.O.W.W. Club

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Chavis Thomas and a brother, Orville Thomas.

He leaves to cherish his loving memories, his wife: Berline Thomas of the home; three daughters: Incosmea Thomas of Winston-Salem, Olinthia Lovetta Harris of Salisbury and Angelique Clark of Lexington; a son, Howard Millner, Jr. of Lexington; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren; a brother, Bobby (Linda) Thomas; a sister, Brenda Webb; six brothers-in-law, five sisters-in-law and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral service will be Wednesday at 1:00pm at Brooks Temple United Methodist Church with family visitation at Noon. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.Public viewing will be Tuesday at Roberts Funeral Service, 701 N. Main St., Lexington, NC 27292 from 1:00pm until 7:00pm.
