Mr. Berkley Carlyle Crosland, 59, of East 5 ^th Street, Winston-Salem, North Carolina, slipped away from this life to join that great cloud of witnesses on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 while in the care of Atrium Health – Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem with his family by his side.  His life began on January 3, 1962 when he was born to the late Nathaniel Crosland and Viola James in Marion, South Carolina.

Berkley, affectionately known as "Berk," was educated in the local schools of Marion, South Carolina.  He was a giver and cared for others, thus he was employed as a PCA with Living Waters Home Healthcare.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Nathaniel Crosland and Viola James.

He is survived by his wife, Arudgitina Fair Crosland of the home; his son, Keith Crosland (Cassandra); sisters, Annie Godfrey, Clara Campbell; brother, Danny Crosland; grandchildren: Kenya Teets (Jay), De'Waun Crosland (Faith), Kiara, Tyler and Katalina Crosland; stepchildren: Raquia Fair, Miakenya Fair, Michael Baker; and a host of other grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Service of life and celebration will be conducted 12:00 P.M. Friday, October 29, 2021 from the chapel of Roberts Funeral Service (Winston-Salem).  Public viewing will be held Thursday. October 28, 2021 from 1:00 P.M. – 6:00 P.M. at the funeral home.  The family will greet and receive visitors and half hour prior to the service on Friday.   In every effort to protect our client families, protective facial coverings and social distancing are mandatory requirements.
