Mrs. Betty Jane Bell Jowers, 84, was born in McBee, South Carolina on October 6, 1939 to Joey Bell and Rosa Lee Sullivan Bell. She passed away on Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Lexington Medical Center.

Mrs. Jowers was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Terry Jowers; a daughter, Jacqueline Jowers-Smith; two grandchildren; five brothers: Joey Jr., Peter, Winfred, Glenn and William Bell.

She leaves to cherish her memory three children: Tammie Sullivan, Kevin Jowers and Ronald Jowers; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild; two brothers, Jeffery Bell and Hoyt Bell and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
