On Sunday morning, August 8, 2021, Heaven gained another angel. Our beloved son, Billy Darryl Glenn, Jr. was called to everlasting rest and peace.Billy was a brother, father, uncle and a friend to everyone he met. Our beloved son was born October 28, 1995 in Forsyth County, NC to Billy Darryl Glenn, Sr. and Evangelist Sally Haith-Glenn of Lewisville, NC.
Billy, affectionately known as "Jay" and "Sonny", graduated from Ronald Reagan High School in 2014.He was very athletic, ambitious and courageous.Billy was our wildflower! He was an outdoorsman; he loved to fish and hunt!He had a smile that would light up any room. He dedicated his life to Christ and was baptized in Jesus' name.
Preceding him in death were his paternal grandparents, Billy Ray Glenn and Eloise Bonner and maternal grandmother, Mary Louise Haith Lamm.
Surviving relatives to cherish his memory includehis parents, Billy Glenn, Sr. and Sally Haith-Glenn; a son, Brody Darryl Glenn of Virginia; a sister, Sierra Graves of Winston-Salem; a brother, Mika'l Blue of the home;nieces and nephews: Morriyah, Jah'siah, Des'Tiny and Jayden; paternal grandfather, Leroy Haith; four aunts: Venus Glenn (Reginald) of Winston-Salem, Shulelvia Glenn-Douthit (Charles) of Winston-Salem, Doris Haith of Burlington, NC, Makeshia Foust (Charles) of Mebane, NC; two uncles, Anthony Glenn, Sr. (Ruth) of Winston-Salem, Darrell Haith (Alfreda) of Reidsville, NC; a special friend, Cheyenne Lane; a host of great aunts and uncles and a multitude of cousins, other relatives and friends.
A celebration of his life will be conducted at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, August 14, 2021 at St. Matthew Apostolic Temple Church of Jesus Christ, 3640 New Walkertown Road, Winston-Salem, North Carolina.He will be coached to New Evergreen Cemetery for earthly rest.In every effort to protect our client families, protective facial coverings and social distancing are mandatory requirements
