Bloundenia"Dean" Blount Rouse, 77, passed away on Sunday, November 20, 2022 at her residence.

Funeral service will be Saturday at Friendship Baptist Church at 1:00pm. Family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00pm at Roberts Funeral Service on Friday. Burial will be Monday at 1:00pm at Forest Hill Memorial Park.

Bloundenia was born June 4, 1945 in Lincoln County Georgia to Raymond Blount and Lillie Hamp Blount. She graduated from Dunbar High School in 1964. She worked for Stroh's Brewery. She was a faithful member of Friendship Baptist Church.

Dean was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Johnny Leroy Rouse; a son, Rodney Rouse and her grandparents, Robert Hamp, Sr. and Timmie H. Hamp.

Dean leaves to cherish her memory two sons, Raymond Blount of San Fransico, CA and Stacy (Kelly) Rouse of Midland, NC; four grandchildren: Raymond Blount, Jr., Malik Rouse, Lilly Rouse and Aidan Rouse and a host of other family and friends.
