Mr. Bobby Ross Simon, 73, was born on March 8, 1946 in Wadesboro, NC to Clayton and Cleo Huntley Simon.On Thursday, January 23, 2020 Bob died after a long battle of declining health.

Funeral service will be Thursday at 2:00pm at Righteous Church of God with family visitation at 1:00pm. Burial will follow at Saints Delight Holiness Church.

He was educated in the Anson County school system and later in life operated his own business, Bobby Simon Landscaping as well as selling his produce throughout the Midway community. He was a faithful member of Righteous Church of God and served on the trustee board, usher and men's committee.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Tennie Ross and a brother, Henry Lee Simon.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 54 years, Martha Simon; a son, Jimmy Young; three daughters: Tammy Simon (Michael) James of Winston-Salem, Sylvia Simon of Midwayand Audrey Simon (Hayword) Bell of Midway; a brother, John (Corrina) Simon of Midway; five sisters: Queen (Ted) Strong of Maryland, Dorothy Lee (June) Dean of Maryland, Venetta Simon of Wadesboro, Claydis (Claude) Leonard of Wadesboro and Heniretta "Gail" (Jerry) Ingram of Fort Washington; nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
