Bobby Lee Crump Jr., age 58, peacefully passed away on August 5, 2026, at his home in Houston, Texas.

Bobby was born on July 29, 1968, to the late Bobby Crump Sr. and Kiwana Talbert Crump. He was a proud man who lived his life with strength, humor, generosity, and an unforgettable personality.

Bobby proudly served in the United States Army as a Tank Operator. Following his military service, he worked for many years as a barber, where he built lasting relationships and became a familiar and beloved presence within his community.

Bobby enjoyed hunting, fishing, long drives, and sharing stories about his many adventures. He was well-known and loved wherever he went. Bobby had a gift for making people laugh and never met a stranger. His charismatic spirit and genuine love for people made him someone who was easy to love and impossible to forget. He especially adored children and took great joy in spoiling them with something special whenever he could.

Bobby was a no-nonsense, truthful, and kind-hearted man who remained true to himself. Those who knew him will remember his laughter, his stories, his generosity, and the countless memories he created with family and friends.

Forever Cherished

Bobby leaves behind to cherish his loving memory his four children: Londyn Crump Garcia, Bobby Larenz Crump, Seth Jones of Houston, Texas, and Dymond Crump of Texas City, Texas; his grandson, Levi Garcia; his three sisters, Karen Crump, Pamela Crump, and Julia Crump of Lexington, North Carolina; three nieces: Te’Ara James, Ti Ana James and Aniya Crump; two nephew, Cyd Verdell and Quentin Carter; eight great-nieces and nephews; six aunts: Brenda Talbert, Irma Talbert, Betty Talbert, Kathy (Joe) Roberts, Emma Crump and Demetrius (Eric) Dalton; six uncles: Dwight Talbert, Roy (Elizabeth) Crump, Artis (Fedrecia) Crump, Sr., Tim Peebles, Billy Williams and Lawrence Bass; his best friend, William Byrd Hairston and a host of other relatives, friends and loved ones.

Though Bobby’s earthly journey has come to an end, his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved him. His stories, laughter, love, and unforgettable spirit will be carried forward by the family and friends he leaves behind.
