Brandon Deon Patterson, Sr., 31, of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist. He was born on May 26, 1992 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina to Charles Walters and Derika Myers.

Brandon received his formal education and graduated from the local Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Public Schools. During his working season of life, he worked in the food service industry and was employed with Zesto Restaurant.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Phyllis Walters.

He leaves to cherish his memory his two sons, Brandon Patterson, Jr. and Deon Patterson Hughes; mother, Derika Myers (Michael Richardson, Sr., stepfather); his fathers, Charles (Chirell) Walters, Jr.; maternal grandmother, Etherine (Mitch) Patterson; paternal grandfather, Charles Walter, Sr.; two sisters, Monique Young, Nyla Walters; three brothers: Michael Preston Robinson, II, Jarrett Myers, Kewan Brown; two special cousins, Lorraine Phillips and Sherry Phillips; and a host of cousins, other family and friends.


Graveside service will be held at 12:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at Mt. Gur Cemetery, Kernersville, North Carolina. Public viewing will be Tuesday, October 31, 2023 from 1:00 P.M. - 5:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
