Mrs. Brenda Ann Thompson Holt was born on June 18, 1957, to the late Elder Willie T. Thompson and Tisha Mae Hilton Thompson.

On Thursday, July 9, 2026, God, in His infinite wisdom and unfailing love, called Brenda from labor to reward at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.

Brenda was educated in the Thomasville City School System. She was of the Holiness faith and faithfully lived a life rooted in her beliefs. She retired from Parkdale Mills after years of dedicated service.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Rev. Thomas Thompson, Gerald Thompson, and Jerry Thompson and her mother and father-law, Rev. Jesse J Holt and Mary Clodfelter Holt.

Brenda deeply loved her family and shared a special bond with each of them, especially her children and grandchildren. Her love, kindness, and caring spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories her beloved husband, Timothy J. Holt, Sr.; three children, Crystal (Marcus) Hargrave, Miranda Holt, and Timothy J. (Shanell) Holt, Jr.; three grandchildren, Briyanna, Jayden, and Maddie; five brothers, Gary Thompson, Joe (Tracye) Thompson, Daniel (Alvita) Thompson, David Thompson, and Johnny Thompson; three sisters, Mary (Chenner) Smith, Geraldine (Eddie) Little, and Catherine (James) Galloway; three brothers-in-law, Jonathan (Kathy) Holt, Caleb Holt and Phil (Carolyn) Holt; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many dear friends who will cherish her memory forever.
