Britany Valdez Garsear Bethea, 41, was born January 19, 1982 in Guilford County to Danita Bethea and the late Robert Abney. "Ice" or "41" as he was called by most, passed away Saturday, September 16, 2023 at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.


Ice attended Lexington City School System and was a proud member of Lexington Senior High class of 2000. He loved life, his family and friends. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his sister, Tameka Winchester and his grandparents.


He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Danita Bethea; a son, Yahniz Bethea; two sisters, Larencia Bethea and Tikeya Bethea; two brothers, Jamar Abney and Brandon Hannon; 5 aunts; 2 uncles and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and dear friends.
