Burnelle Danzy, 54, of Sparta, North Carolina, passed away on Monday, August 5, 2024 at Lotus Village Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation. She was born on August 8, 1969 to the late Nathaniel Danzy and Vireie Asbury in Broward County, Florida.


Burnelle received her formal education from the local Broward County Public Schools. She was self-employed and maintained several small businesses.


She was preceded in death by her father, Nathaniel Danzy and two sisters, Brenda Mae Danzy and Tricia Ann Asbury.


She leaves behind her beloved children, two sons, Charles Danzy and Shawn Hickman; two daughters, Chnanita Bonner and Chickica Bonner; fifteen grandchildren; two sisters, Rena Danzy, Janet Danzy; two brothers, Nathaniel Danzy and Simon Danzy; aunts, Linda Asbury and Katie Mae Richburg; uncles, Willie "Boy" Danzy and Benjamin Edward Danzy and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.


A service of remembrance will be conducted 3:00 P.M. on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at Roberts Funeral Service Chapel (Winston-Salem).
