Obituary
The funeral service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Thursday at St. Stephens United Methodist Church by Rev. Dr. Arnetta Beverly. Burial will follow at Lexington City Cemetery.
Carolyn was born on November 14, 1969 in Randolph County to Wilford McDowell and Carolyn June Owens Hedrick. She was a former employee of Taco Bell. She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her companion, Clark Friday of Lexington; a step-son, Austin Martish; two brothers, Jimmy Lee McDowell and Carl Edward McDowell; a devoted aunt, Lois Ann (Wayne) Gray of Linwood; two god-children, Isaiah and Khalif Chavis and a devoted niece and nephew, Nautica Friday and Walter Parker and a host of other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Roberts Funeral Service. At other times, the family will be at the home on Price Road, Lexington.
