Mrs. Carrie L. Wilson, 88, of Wenco Dr., passed on Tuesday, April 12, 2016, at her residence.

The funeral service will be Saturday at 3:00 P.M. at New Faith Full Gospel Fellowship Center with visitation a half hour before the service. Burial will follow at Lexington City Cemetery.

Public viewing will be Friday from 1:00p.m. - 8:00p.m. at Roberts Funeral Service.

She was born September 5, 1927, to William A. Luther and Rettie Reeves Luther in Rowan County. She was retired from Spencer Rest Home as a CNA.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Cain Wilson, Jr.; two sons, Cain Wilson III and Johnny Wilson; two brothers, Norman Luther and Clifford Luther and three sisters, Priscilla Parks, Elsie Lee Parks and Ethel Luther.

She is survived by her son, Stephen Wilson; four daughters, Carrie W. Roseboro, Betty J. Wilson, Carlene Wilson and Nora J (Stephen) Wilson-Moore; a sister, Bessie R. Krider; 18 grandchildren, 58 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
