Charles Lorenzo Adams, “Charlie,” transitioned peacefully during the early hours of June 5, 2026 at University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA. He was born on October 2, 1982 to the late Rensy Berry Roberts, Jr. and Mamie Willie Adams of Lexington, North Carolina.

He was preceded in death by his father, Rensy Berry Roberts, Jr. He is survived by loving family members and friends.

Before becoming ill, Charlie enjoyed working at Food Lion in Waynesboro, VA, exploring business adventures, watching TV and playing games/music on his tablet. He will always be remembered for his witty sense of humor and love of money. The family would like to thank all of the Doctors and Nurses at The University of Virginia, as well as Hospice of the Piedmont for the care they provided over the past months.

Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2026 at 3pm at Roberts Funeral Service.
