Mr. Charlie Wayne Clark, 67, of Moore Dr., died on Sunday, August 28, 2016 at his residence.

Funeral service will be Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at Union Baptist Church with family visitation a half hour before the service. Burial will follow in Lexington City Cemetery.

Public viewing will be Wednesday from 1:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Service.

He was born April 14, 1949 in Davidson County to Harry Lee Clark, Sr. and Mille Ernestine Hill Clark. He retired from PPG Industries. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Harry Lee Clark, Jr. and a sister, Evelyn Friday.

Charlie Wayne leaves to cherish his memory, two sons, Tony (Lislie) Clark and Charles B. Clark; a daughter, Celena (Colin) Tribby; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; three sisters, Carrie Lee Poole, Martha Ann Davis, Mary (Johnny) Knotts-Montgomery; caregiver and best friend through life, Belinda Clark; a best friend who was like a brother, Sam Smith and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
