Cheryl was a loving mother, sister, daughter and wife. A friend to many. She always joked around and brought joy and laughter to any situation.


She grew up in church, she made fellowship wherever she went. Always reminding others of her relationship with God. She was raised by her mother, Cora Mae Lee and Father James Author Lee.


Cheryl attended Lehman High School where she ran track and field. She was proficient in karate where she earned a brown belt and competed in local karate tournaments.

In her college years, she attended Interboro and Bronx Community College. Cheryl was also very creative and learned how to knit and sew. Cheryl sketched and made outfits. She also loved knitting Kufi hats and sold them as a side hustle. She also started modeling. Cheryl and her fellow classmates were modeling her creations in their college fashion shows.


Later on, she met her husband Paul Anthony Sheppard. They married February 15, 1985.


No later after that, Cheryl became a medical secretary at Upper Manhattan in there substance abuse department. She worked diligently there for thirty five years. While working there, she gave birth to her only child Shacora Denise Williams.


Cheryl was preceded in death by her father James Author Lee, her mother Cora Mae Lee and her husband Paul Anthony Sheppard. She is survived by her daughter Shacora Denise Williams, her son in law, Travis Xavier Williams, her twin grandsons, Hunter Lee Williams, Michael Alexander Williams, her grandson Noah Jamu Williams, her sister, Michelle Elaine Feaster, her nephew Corey James Feaster and a lot of dearly devoted family and friends.


The funeral will be Saturday at 11:00am at Life in the Word.
