From the rising of the sun, Christian Isaiah Gaither, born to Melaine Ann Pruitt and Tracey Lamont Arnold, began his journey of this life on August 6, 1996. To the setting of the sun, which completed his journey on September 21, 2024 in Forsyth County, North Carolina, at which time he departed this earthly life to enter his life of eternity.


"Zeke", as he was affectionately known, was always surrounded in love and spoiled by many, was educated at Davie County High School, graduating with the Class of 2015. He was last employed at Hardee's in Mocksville, North Carolina.


He attended Harvest United Fellowship Church (formerly known as Fairfield Baptist Church) in Mocksville, North Carolina. In his pastime, he enjoyed playing sports and cheering on his favorite NFL team, the Carolina Panthers.


He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Michael Gaither paternal grandfather, Jeremiah "Jake" Arnold and paternal grandmother, Annie B. Arnold.


Though his physical presence is gone, his spiritual presence shall forever be present and cherished by his children, a son, Leo James Shufford Gaither and a daughter, Adeline Christian-Elise Gaither; nurturing parents, Melaine Ann Gaither Pruitt and Tracey Lamont Arnold; three brothers: Ramon Pruitt of Salisbury, North Carolina, Sanchez Pruitt of Mocksville, North Carolina and Kentrell Ray of Winston-Salem, North Carolina; a sister, Precious Jimerson of Mocksville, North Carolina; maternal grandmother, Sherry Pruitt of Salisbury, North Carolina; paternal grandmother, Kathie T. Foster of Mocksville, North Carolina; two uncles, Michael Gaither and Melvin Gaither; a host of great aunts and uncles; a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.


Homegoing services will be conducted Sunday, October 6, 2024 at 3:00 PM at Roberts Funeral Service Chapel with family visitation at 2:30 PM until the hour of service. Burial will follow at Harvest United Fellowship Church Cemetery(formerly Fairfield Baptist Church). Public viewing will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the funeral home
