Claymon Alexander Hargrave, affectionately known as "Cowboy," was born July 7, 1938 to the late Will and Jennie Roberts Hargrave.On August 7, 2020 Cowboy joined his loved ones in Heaven as he entered into eternal peace.Cowboy was a strong man.He worked many years with Holt Concrete.He was a loving brother, uncle, neighbor and friend.

Cowboy was preceded in death by two sisters, M. Pauline Hargrave and Daisy O. Hargrave; seven brothers: William Hargrave, Clarence Vernon Hargrave, Sr., Robert Hargrave, Marshall Hargrave, Richard Hargrave, Benjamin E. Hargrave, Sr., and Richard K. Robinson.

Cowboy will be missed by many family and friends and he loved his church family dearly.He leaves to cherish his memories to his sister, Crissie Hargrave; an aunt, Savannah Roberts and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who loved him dearly.

Public viewing will be on Monday at Roberts Funeral Service from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. at Salem Baptist Church with burial to follow at Lexington City Cemetery.
