Cleveland Dye, 82, departed this life on Wednesday, January 2, 2019. He was born November 7, 1936 in Lincolnton, Ga to Ernest Dye, Sr. and Bertha Lee Leverette.

The funeral service will be Saturday at Files Chapel Baptist Church at 12:30pm with family visitation a half hour before the service.

He was the owner of Cleveland Tree Service. He was preceded in death by his parents; a grandson; six brothers: James Booker, Charlie, F.H., Willie, Ernest, Jr. and Ford Dye and four sisters: Ruth Robinson, Priscilla Cooper, Rosie Dulin and Gwendolyn Harris.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Patricia Dye; three sons: John Arthur Dye, Cleveland Dye, Jr. and Leroy Williams; five daughters: Sarah (Robert) Grant, Bertha (Henderson) Blake, Ruby Dye, Gloria Dye and Le'Trice Dye; two brothers, Wayne Dye and George "Shug" Dye; ten grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
