Connie Marie Hicks was born in November 14, 1958 in Davidson County, North Carolina, to Leroy Hicks, Sr. and Connie Roman Huntley. She peacefully passed away on Monday, September 14, 2026, at her residence.

Connie was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her father, Leroy Hicks, Sr., and her sister, Margaret Ann Hicks.

She leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Connie R. Huntley; two brothers, Leroy Hicks, Jr. and Herbert Hicks; two sisters, Velma Hicks and Maggie (Gregory) Burns; and a host of other relatives and friends who will forever cherish her memory.

The Homegoing Service will be held on Wednesday at Salem Baptist Church. Family visitation will begin at 11:30 a.m., followed by the funeral service at 12:00 noon. Burial will follow at South Lexington City Cemetery.
