Curtis Ezel Griffin, 85, of NC Hwy 8, died Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at Wake Forest Baptist Health-Lexington Medical Center.

The graveside service will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at Forest Hill Memorial Park. Public viewing will be Monday from 1:00pm-5:00pm at Roberts Funeral Service.

Mr. Griffin was born June 20, 1935 in Davidson County to Charles and Luna Clodfelter Griffin. He retired from PPG Ind. and was member of Union Chapel AME Zion Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Stanley Griffin; a daughter-in-law, Barbara Griffin; four brothers: Willie Griffin, James Griffin, Paul Griffin and Charlie Griffin; and three sisters: Josephine Mobley, Ida G. Smith and Bertie Hatley.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife; Betty Griffin of the home; seven sons: Steven Griffin, Curtis (Beverly) Griffin, Jr., Darius Brawley, Cecil Griffin, Dale (Lisa) Griffin, Anthony (Kathy) Kelly and Michael Parks; three daughters: Pam (Thomas) Carpenter, Theonia (Kenneth) Richardson and Charlene Griffin and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, in-laws, cousins and friends.
