Curtis Leroy Leonard was born on September 4, 1946 in Davidson County to the late Hoy Lee Leonard and Dorothy L. Hayes Leonard. He entered eternal rest on January 2, 2026 at The Oaks.
Curtis was a hardworking man who retired from Flowers Industries after many years of dedicated service. He was a faithful member of Brooks Temple United Methodist Church.

In addition to his parents, Curtis was preceded in death by his daughter, Chiquita T. Delapp; two brothers, William Leonard and Bobby Payne; and three sisters: Mildred Tuttle, Joan Moore and Geraldine Leonard.

He leaves to cherish his loving memory his grandson, Quadarius Leonard; his great-granddaughter, Sakirra Leonard; his sister, Delma Moore; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A funeral service will be held Sunday at Brooks Temple United Methodist Church. Family visitation will begin at 1:30 p.m., followed by the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
