Obituary

Our dearly beloved Gentle Giant and Big Baby, Diante Dontrell Allison's journey on this walk of life came to a close on Tuesday, June 23, 2026 with family surrounding him with love. Born May 24, 1996, he was the son of Amie H. Allison and Bruce C. Isaac, Jr.; stepmother, Carolyn McIntosh and the late Anthony McIntosh. This is a difficult time for our family as we mourn the loss of our gentle giant. We have a Merciful Lord who is our Maker; and we give thanks for Diante's life and the time we shared. Big Baby is no longer in pain and is resting in the arms of Our Lord and Savior.

He was educated in the Davie County public school system, Davie County, North Carolina. Prior to declining health, Diante was an entrepreneur, investing his time and talents in various industries. He is a former member of Refuge Community Church, Cooleemee, North Carolina.

In his leisure, he enjoyed doing things with his nieces, nephews and godchildren, playing basketball and football, cooking for others that allowed him time to create loving and lasting moments with family and friends, a true gamer, and he loved listening to gospel music. Diante was never too busy to lend a hand if he could help someone.

Diante was preceded in death by his father, Anthony McIntosh; and paternal grandparents, Muriel Studevent, Lessie Tucker and George McIntosh.

His cherished and treasured memory will live in the hearts of his mother, Amie H. Allison of Mocksville, North Carolina; Bruce Isaac, Jr. of Mocksville, North Carolina; three brothers: Debergerac J. "DeJay" Allison and Domenic R. Isaac, both of Mocksville, North Carolia and De'Maura R. Isaac of Lexington, North Carolina; two sisters, Mia T. Isaac and Maya T. Isaac, both of Mocksville, North Carolina; maternal grandparents, David G. and Annette Dalton; three nieces: Harmoni J. Isaac, Masiyah and Zaniyah McMillian; two nephews, Bryant D. Cassell III and Antonio Stocks; life time partner of the home, Tisaia Palmer; four aunts: Lakisha McMillan, Melanie (Terry) Isaac, Marnier Isaac and Michelle Allison; four uncles: Cyrano Allison, Bryant Wilson, Tyrell Jones and Brent Jones; godmother, Tanganyika D. Gaith; four goddaughters: Ava Boone, A'riah M. Joyner, Serenity M. Joyner and Azula R. Gomez; four special brothers: LaKotta Holt , Jordan Boone, Antiono Clement and Anthony L. Calhoun; three special sisters: Cyranynia A. Archie , Cynara A. Allison and Essence Smith; and a host of great aunts, great uncles, godbrothers, cousins and dear friends.
