Daryl L. Ellison was born in October 1970 in Davidson County to Lewis Ellison and Rev. Patricia Threadgill Ellison. He transitioned from this life on Saturday, January 24, 2026.

Daryl was a faithful member of Cunningham First Baptist Church, where he served as a trustee and was always willing to work in support of the church. He was also an active member of the Brothers Keeper Motorcycle Club, serving proudly as Vice President. Daryl was employed as a gas truck driver with Sheetz, where he was known for his strong work ethic and dependability.

He leaves to cherish his loving memory his devoted wife, Monique S. Ellison; his parents, Lewis Ellison and Rev. Patricia Threadgill Ellison; three sons, Sterling J. Holmes,  Xavier K. Baker and Kaleb R. Cody; three daughters: Demetrice D. (Marzettis) O'Neal, Sigourney V. Ellison and Porsha Thornton; two stepsons, K'Saun D. Phillips and Gregory J. Phillips; four stepdaughters: Paris Phillips, Laquincia J. Dalton, Passion Phillips and Kalynn T. Knox; three brothers: Willie Greene, Rev. Cedric Ellison and Ricky (Stacy) Ellison; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members and friends who will forever cherish his memory.

Funeral services will be held on Friday at Friendship Baptist Church. Family visitation will begin at 12:00 noon, followed by the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park.

For the safety and comfort of all attendees, face masks are suggested during the funeral service.
