Davera Lynn Winston was called by YAHUAH our ELOHIM for rest on Friday, November 27, 2020. She was born on June 22, 1954 to Mary Aquilla Sampson and the late William C. Sanders, Sr. of Lexington NC.

For all who knew Lynn, she was a beautiful, bright, smart, courageous missionary, who was full of life.Lynn was vehemently known as the life of the party and changed the lives of everyone she encountered.

Lynn was an entrepreneur and had several businesses:an online products-based business, a catering and cake business, and she was working on a licensure patent for an invention which she founded.Her outreach within the community consists of caring for the elderly, supporting a children's summer camp program and providing housing and/or food for anyone who needed it.May her legacy continue beyond today for many generations to come.

Lynn was preceded in death by her sisters:Faye A. Crawford of Salisbury, N.C. and Vivian J. Sanders.

Lynn is survived by her two children to whom she completely devoted her life's work: Brian O. Grimes with wife Felicia Grimes and Carla D. Jones with husband Terence Jones; grandsons, Marcus Creamer, Diego Lawrence; granddaughters: Adina Lawrence, Ashley Grimes, Kasey Grimes;grandchildren-in-love, Jason with wife Diyasha Jones, Jeremy Jones with wife Sara Jones; great grandchildren-in-love, AsaYAHand AniYAH Jones and many others who called her "Mom," and "Grandmom."

Public viewing will be Saturday at Roberts Funeral Service from 1:00pm -5:00pm. A private service will be Sunday.
