Debora received her early education through the Lexington City School System and graduated with pride from Lexington Senior High School as a member of the Class of 1970. With a strong work ethic and a heart for service, she dedicated over 20 years of her life to the Davidson County Shelter Workshop.

A woman of deep faith and unwavering devotion, Debora was a long-standing and faithful member of First Baptist Church, located on Village Drive in Lexington, North Carolina.

In addition to her loving parents, Debora was preceded in death by her beloved son, Marius Lamar Mason, and her dear brother, Peyton Moses Mason, Jr.

Debora leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion. She is survived by her sister, Rachel Mason McCants; her uncle, Thurman (Carrie) Clemmons; and her aunt, Magalene (Joseph) Ferguson.
