Obituary
Deborah G. Roberts Metcalf, 71, of Forest Dr., passed away June 10, 2018 at her residence.
She was born in Davidson County on September 5, 1948 to Clarence H. Roberts, Sr. and Helen Noble Smith Roberts. She was a member of True Deliverance Apostolic Church. She worked at Duracell and WTNC Radio.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence H. Roberts Sr. and Helen N. Smith Roberts and four brothers: Phillip, Jimmie, Clarence Jr. and Buford Roberts.
She leaves to cherish her memory her children: Carlice (Kenneth) Roberts Braddy, Antoinette Metcalf, Anthony Metcalf and Phillip (Lillian) Metcalf; 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; two aunts, Savannah Roberts and Ruth Roberts and a host of other relatives and friends.
The funeral service will be Wednesday at 1:30 pm at First Baptist Church W. 3rd Ave with family visitation at 12:30pm. Burial will follow at New Jersey AME Zion Church.
