Mr. Devernie N. Winston, 66, of Syracuse, New York, died Friday, March 1, 2019.
He was born in Davidson County to Alfreda Winston Jones. He graduated from Lexington Senior High School in 1971. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Keysha Winston and three brothers: Lonnie Winston, Mark Jones and Shayron Winston.
He leaves to cherish his memory his four children: Devernie Winston, Jr. of New York, NY, Sir Devernie Winston, Brandon Boyce and Ta Pia Cutts, all of Syracuse, NY; his mother, Alfreda Jones of Lexington; two brothers, Clarence Winston of Lexington and Warren Winston of Syracuse, NY; two sisters, Ulissa Deloatch (Joe) of Morganton, NC and Roxanne Winston Lexington and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
