On September 23, 2024, we welcomed our precious baby boy, De'Vonte Decarus Glenn into the world. Though his time with us was brief, his impact on our hearts is eternal. Despite a brave fight, De'Vonte passed away peacefully on Friday, October 4, 2024 at Atrium Health - Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina surrounded by love. His beautiful eyes and sweet spirit will never be forgotten. De'Vonte was born September 23, 2024 in Forsyth County, North Carolina, a son of Derek D. Glenn and Shakella Shanae' Dobson.

He is survived by his parents, Shakella Shanae' Dobson and Derek DeJaun Glenn; his siblings: Allen Redford, Jewel Farmer, Isiah Farmer, Derek Glenn, Jr. Lyric Tart Glenn; his grandparents: Junetta Holman, Venus Glenn and Bernard Dobson; great-grandparents: Cynthia Tart and Bernard Dobson; godmother, Tamika Tart and a host of family and loved ones.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, October 12, 2024 at Roberts Funeral Service (Winston-Salem). Public viewing will take 12:00 P.M. until the hour of service. Burial will take place in Baby Land at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
